All In

Are we truly all in for Christ? This powerful message challenges us to examine the depth of our discipleship. Drawing from Luke 14, we're reminded that following Jesus isn't a casual commitment, but a call to complete loyalty. Just as a builder considers the cost before starting a tower, we must count the cost of discipleship. It's not about mere church attendance, but about allowing God to mold us, even through trials and rejections. The imagery of the potter shaping clay beautifully illustrates how God works in our lives, sometimes through uncomfortable processes. This message urges us to move beyond a 'marketplace Christianity' that seeks comfort, to embracing the transformative, sometimes challenging journey of true discipleship. Are we willing to put Christ first, even above family ties? This isn't about hating our loved ones, but about prioritizing our commitment to God's kingdom. As we reflect on this, let's ask ourselves: Are we living as salt and light in the world, or have we become 'saltless disciples'?
